I look so sad. I must be jealous. I know in my heart I will never reach Kevin's advanced level. But we keep going. I have my bottle of Pepsi and will be making Mento's Rockets as soon as we are done meditating. Nothing like a Beerbecue to make relaxing just a little easier. Kevin would normally do this move with a cigarette in his mouth but he didn't want to "Show Boat" because he knows that everyone will want to try this later. Who's first?
Not ONE Member of the Bush Extended Family Has Served in Iraq! Not One!
Take a Look.

BUSH EXTENDED FAMILY PHOTO taken January 20, 2005
Yet, not one -- not one -- of any of Bush's children or his nieces and nephews have volunteered for service in any branch of the military or volunteered to serve in any capacity in Iraq. Not one of them has felt the cause was noble enough to put his or her life on the line.
If Iraq is such an "honorable" cause, how come not one -- not one -- of Bush's extended family has joined the military to fight there? Not one.
Same for Cheney's family.
Bush and Cheney were cowards who avoided service in Vietnam, sending other men to die for them. Now, they've made elitist craven "warmongering" a family affair.
They are frauds who send off the children of other American families to die in one of their many delusional "fiascos." And then they mistreat the wounded veterans, after not giving them sufficient protective gear to begin with.
It's the treason borne of men who personally lack the courage of their convictions.
It is like playing millionaire's poker with someone else's money and doubling down after a series of non-stop losses -- only this involves the children of Americans needlessly dying -- as well as the children of Iraqis.
This is a crime of cowards.
And there are grandparents and parents dying in Iraq too -- our reservist GIs -- so the Cheney girls aren't too old to serve, either, not to mention Jeb's children and the Bush twins.
Put your lives where your mouths are -- and take Sean Hannity and all the age-eligible propagandists at FOX News with you.
Remember, not one -- not one -- of the vast Bush dynasty members has served in Iraq, let alone even join the military during the "War on Terror." Not one.
INTERESTING HUH? PASS ON.
What a surprise!
Bush AIDS Abstinence Appointee Quits State Dept. In Hooker Scandal

(Washington) Randall Tobias, the head of the US Agency for International Development and President Bush's former coordinator for global AIDS relief, has quit amid allegations he was a client of a high-priced DC call-girl ring.
In announcing his resignation the State Department said on that Tobias was resigning for personal reasons.
ABC News was given the names of clients of what has been described as an exclusive escort service in the capital by Deborah Jeane Palfrey, the owner of the service who has been charged with running a prostitution ring.
Palfrey, who is 65 and married, maintained in an interview with the Washington Post that her service provided university educated women to engage in legal game-playing of a sexual nature at 275 dollars an hour for a 90 minute session.
Tobias' name was among those clients. He submitted his resignation a day after being confronted by the network.
In an interview with ABC he confirmed that he had called the Pamela Martin and Associates escort service to have women come to his condo and give him massages. But he denied there was any sex involved.
Tobias, 65, who is married,
In 2003 Bush appointed Tobias as the first global AIDS coordinator. For three years he promoted abstinence over the use of condoms, and fidelity in traditional marriage, to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa and was blamed for tying abstinence programs to aid to foreign countries.
His agency also funneled money to faith-based groups that not only preached abstinence, faithfulness, and denounced sex between men or ignored male-on-male sex altogether in AIDS educational programs.
In 2006 Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice named Tobias to head USAID.
Before joining the Bush administration Tobias was chair, president and chief executive of the pharmaceutical giant Eli Lilly. In addition, from 1997-2000, he was chair of the board of trustees at Duke University.

Are you getting this people? This is the Bush Administration's "Higher Ground".
It was a pretty day for a marathon. Not that I would know because I can't walk up the stairs without wheezing. It was a pretty day though. I got out front at 7:00 and stayed until I couldn't stand any longer.
The first guy through was in a wheelchair and it was pretty inspirational.
Despite the beautiful sky it was difficult to take pictures because there was so much glare. Plus, it's hard to take pictures while ringing a bell and shaking Maracas. (See Webcruiser's Vox)
It doesn't look like much but we are in the "stretch" area so the pack is all broken up and spread out. So I watched 30,000 people run by two or three at a time and rang my bell for each one. They were tickled to death. "look at this idiot ringing a bell and shaking Maracas". Kevin climbed out on the roof and watched me watch runners. There was a band across the street jamming all morning.
I am reposting this because I really want a few more folks to discover it. Although periodically I think to myself "If a tree fell on my Vox would anybody hear it"? Tell me you don't feel that way from time to time. Let me make it clear. I have some dynamic stuff but it is trapped in my head and I can't seem to jar it loose. I try periodically but I'm in one of those dry spells mentally. I am responding more and catching up on lost neighbors and seeing where they have been and what they are up to. I have ended up with more neighbors than I should have because I can scarcely even remain polite as far as reading, digesting and responding. I liked it better when I could pop through some regulars and then hunt for a new way of thinking. Now I am just feeling behind on popping in on folks that I really like just because the day ain't that long. I daily stumble upon precious pearls. I love pictures and completely relate to fulfilling my blogbligation by posting at least a few pics here and there. I do have to warn you though, when it finally comes out it may just require a little observation and perhaps meds. I am the quiet guy about to pop. Watch for my neighbor each night on the 6:00 news. Nah, more of a wimpy explosion of "Fed-Upedness" of just about everything and everybody but only in dull doses. Ah crap, I guess I am mildly angry. Maybe it's because Wednesday is the four year anniversary of Mission Accomplished. I am going to start trying to "rock the vote" somehow. It's not easy because most of the folks I come in contact with already vote. I'll have to enlist ideas on how to arouse the disinterested. Perhaps I should put that another way. I liked it better when I felt like I was writing directly to somebody. rather than posting something that documents a situation but I am a bit beleaugered by world events.
Okay, so Tater has more toys than many children. Fortunately she is a cheap date and can't tell The Dollar Store from FAO Scwharz. She literally has hundreds. So many we have them upstairs in a huge box and swap them out 20 or so at a time. We retire some and rehire others week after week. She knows them by name and can pick them out as you call them. The cat loves her and thinks Tater is her mother. She follows her around and tries to lay as close to her as possible. Tater only goes along with so much of this and has been known to scold her. Lolo stays away from everybody and Gulliver prefers his friends to be people.
Including Gays In Hate Crime Law 'An Affront' Groups Say

(Washington) Legislation that would add crimes against gays and lesbians under federal hate crime law has come under fire from a collection of African-American leaders and a group that claims to cure "unwanted same-sex attraction' through faith.
Called the Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act, it would allow the Department of Justice to assist local authorities in investigating and prosecuting cases in which violence occurs.
The measure was introduced in the Senate earlier this month (story) and in the House in March (story).
House subcommittee hearings were held last week and the subcommittee, headed by Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-NY), could vote on the bill later this week.
Bishop Harry Jackson, Jr., Pastor Marvin Winans, Bishop Larry Brandon and Bishop Liston Paige, Jr. were joined at a Washington news conference on Tuesday to denounce adding gays to the hate crime bill.
The Black pastors said sexuality cannot be equated to race and civil rights.
"We stand today with many in the African-American community who also recognize that one's sexuality can be changed, but one's skin color cannot," said Alan Chambers, the President of Exodus International, the largest of the so-called ex-gay groups.
"We call upon Congress to promote legislation that affirms authentic equality and protects our religious freedoms." he said, adding that the legislation "says that we, as former homosexuals, are of less value and worth less legal protection now then when we were living as homosexuals."
The Local Law Enforcement Hate Crimes Prevention Act is named for Matthew Shepard, the gay college student who was killed in a homophobic attack in Wyoming in 1998.
Last week clergy from across the country gathered on Capitol Hill Tuesday to call for passage of the bill.
The measure passed the House in the last Congress but was dropped in the then Republican-controlled Senate last year.
Although the bill has bi-artisan support, with Democrats now in control of both houses in Congress it is seen as having a better chance of passage.
FBI statistics show that one in six hate crimes is motivated by the victim’s sexual orientation.
The African American and "ex-gay" leaders also said they oppose federal legislation barring discrimination based on sexuality the workplace. The Employment Non-Discrimination Act was introduced in the House on Tuesday. (story)

Co-Voxers from Exodus International are in Washington trying to stop hate law legislation that would include Gays as potential victims. Just search Exodus and you may find Mike and Randy. Randy was thrown out of his parents home when he was 19 because he was Gay. Matthew should have been so lucky. Instead, he went to college, got good grades and stayed in his own little community where anyone should feel safe? Right?
This is not Mike and Randy but it may as well be. They want us to kill ourselves and if we don't and you do there should not be any punishment. I hope you boys like it hot because you will be spending eternity with these two. Since you are repressed and desperate for love I bet these fellas will have lots to offer. They've been in jail awhile and I bet they want to play Poke the Pansy when they meet up with you in hell.
Remember this harmless young man? Do you? It could have been me. It could have been one of 30 million of your countrymen, friends, family, co-workers. Had enough? Write your Congressman. Look them up. Flood their E-mail boxes and their voice mail boxes. Somehow wanting to live is "special treatment". Make a difference. One day it may be you.
Happy Earth Day. Plant something, recycle something, do something. Now more than ever the biggest impact can come just from writing your Congressional Representative. Without global intervention our beautiful world will be left a corporate wasteland. Don't forget that our President believes that we are headed for "The Rapture" so he doesn't think there is anything wrong with the planet melting, the species dying off, the resources being raped and pillaged (by his friends and family). I am so looking forward to the day when we can "plant a Bush" instead of a tree to celebrate. In front of my mom and dad's home there is a grove of pine trees that were seedlings that all us kids brought home from elementary school for the very first Earth Day. They are 30 feet tall now. From the land of Al Gore, I bid you all a Happy Earth Day. Now get out there and make a difference!
