This is one of the more unique performers I have ever
enjoyed. She must be in her fifties by now because I found her in 1976. She was from Czechoslovakia. You will periodically hear her music in the background of a car commercial or even newscasts. There is a picture below from a drag queen"s Halloween collection dated 2005 and the caption under it said "nobody knew I was Lene Lovich". Drag Queen Obscura,lol! There is a recent photo of her at a PETA gathering with Chrissie Hynde. I just love her oddness and she had quite a flair for dressing,lol. In one song you could look down her throat while she made bird noises. I don't think I ever got over that. Wolfman Jack introduced America to her on The Midnight Special. Thomas Dolby (She Blinded Me With Science ) played in her band way back when. He married the daughter of the butler from Dynasty, Kathleen Bellwood, and they would come into my store in Hollywood with their kids.
