I watched some of "I'm a Celebrity. Get me out of here". I mean Christ it was on about 15 times a week for the last month. Plus it had train wreck Janice Dickenson on it so I had to watch that accident happen.

I really liked the way some of the folks got attached to Patti.  I really liked watching somebody drowning in strife being pulled out just long enough to redeem herself in the eyes of many people who would never give her a chance. So she cusses once in awhile.  While I don't approve of bad fucking language I can forgive it.

I just thought her interaction with John Salley and Lou Phillips and Tori Wilson was refreshing.  I can't watch the Real Housewives of anywhere.  The Rock of Love/Flavor of Love/Bachelor/ette.  That's all not my cuppa.  But people confined with each other that have to maintain at least a modicum of decency, now I can get right into that.  Big Brother.  Survivor.  Amazing Race. I might just be used to them though.

It was neat to see a "regular" person try to fit in with the egos and she did pretty good and left fairy well liked. Out of 20 or so people she ended up being fourth by people calling in and voting for her.  I think they voted for her because they liked her and not for any other reason. Janice got votes to keep her in and punish both her and the other people.

Patti was just liked.  I liked her.  I hope all her troubles are behind her soon. I know her husband is a bit of a twit but I don't make couples into one person.  Most couples I know are two totally opposite or different people.

Holly Montag was totally different than her sister Heidi.

In the end I wanted Tori Wilson.  I like Lou Diamond Phillips.  I did his wedding to Julie Cypher who left him for Melissa Etheridge. Lou is a really great guy.  I did the entire wedding with him and not the bride. So I am also glad that he won.

Celebrity is a tough thing.  I knew so many of them.  Being a celebrity does not mean you are rich.  How many of them I saw struggle to make ends meet. 

So I hope Patti helped people see who she is and I hope it helps her get through the trouble she and her hairsband are going through.
